Our Occupational health and safety group analyzes all types of work environments and work procedures. Our specialists inspect workplaces for adherence to regulations on safety, health and the environment. We also design programs to prevent disease or injury to workers and damage to the environment.
Previous WVUIE clients have faced common challenges including but not limited to confusing regulatory obligations, missing or obsolete programs, insufficient training programs and understanding noise and air exposure limits.
WVUIE addresses these issues through initial health and safety consolations, mock OSHA inspections, OSHA preparedness & response, comprehensive health and safety training, customized written safety programs, American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR, First Aid and AED training.
WVUIE also works to provide OSHA 10-hour/30 hour general industry training, fire extinguisher training, air sampling evaluation and control, noise exposure evaluation and control, earplug fit testing, hazard evaluation, ergonomic evaluation study, respirator fit testing and training, job safety analysis, recordkeeping audits, personal protective equipment assessment and forklift training
